Idaho EMT and AEMT Course Acceptance and License Renewal Information

EMT & Fire Training Inc is located in Idaho, which makes it perfect for any Idaho resident wanting to enter the EMS field. We adhere to all of the Idaho State laws in preparing our students to apply for licensure, after completing the course and successfully passing the Practical exam, National Registry exam, and the Criminal History Background Check, and becoming affiliated with an Idaho Licensed EMS Agency.

As a part of the EMT (Basic) and AEMT (EMT-Intermediate) you get full access to our test prep site to help you study for the NREMT exams at no extra cost. http://www.emt-national-training.com/

To renew your National Registry Certificate you will need an EMT or AEMT Refresher approved by CECBEMS. For Idaho State license renewal you will need to meet the requirements on the Provider Licensure page under License Renewal on the Idaho EMS website. For EMT and AEMT license renewal we offer a refresher that is 24 hours for EMT and 36 hours for AEMT, and includes Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) sessions where a real instructor is present to answer questions and discuss the topics. It is fully accepted by the NREMT and is CECBEMS accredited. This is only one of the few online refreshers that meet the actual requirements by the NREMT to be counted as an official refresher. You have 2 years to complete the refresher from the time you sign up (or you can usually get it done in as little as 2 to 3 weeks). The cost of the refresher is $249.

If you need an EMT Refresher as Remedial Training we can help. Once you pass our 24 Hour EMT Online Refresher course you will have 3 more opportunities at taking the NREMT Exam. The Course is accepted by the NREMT and covers all 24 hours of the Mandatory Core and Content required. To insure that you pass on your next attempt you can practice for the exam with our test prep site.

If you need an AEMT Refresher as Remedial Training we can help. Once you pass our 36 Hour AEMT Online Refresher course you will have 3 more opportunities at taking the NRAEMT Exam. The Course is accepted by the NREMT for both AEMT and I85 and covers all 36 hours of the Mandatory Core and Flexible Core Content required. To insure that you pass on your next attempt you can practice for the exam with our test prep site.

To recertify with the National Registry as an AEMT you will need to complete the 36 Hour AEMT Refresher, an additional 36 Continuing Education (CE’s) hours, and have a current CPR Certification.
