* The EMT and AEMT course that we offer prepares you to take the NREMT and NRAEMT Skills and Written test, and when you are successful you will be NREMT certified. If you are registered with the NREMT and hold an NREMT or NRAEMT certificate or licensure from another state, you can apply for initial 2-year Arizona Certification. (Please call for more details)
**Online Recertification must take place every 2 years. The education needed for EMT (EMT-B) recertification includes an Arizona EMT Refresher, or Arizona EMT Refresher Challenge Examination, or a current NREMT registration as an EMT. The education needed for EMT-I99 or EMT-Paramedic includes 60 hours of CE with 7 hours of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and advanced emergency cardiac life support, or current registration as an EMT I-99 or Paramedic (The EMT I-85 level is no longer certified in Arizona). EMT & FIre Training Inc. offers an AEMT Transition Course to take you from I-85 to AEMT.
NOTE: Arizona requires that all EMT's and AEMT's take an Arizona approved Refresher in their state, so EMT & Fire Training's 24 Hour and 36 Hour Online Refreshers will not work for you at this time. However, if you are working solely towards NREMT Recertification, our Online 24 Hour EMT Refresher, plus our Online 36 Hour AEMT Refresher, and our Online 48 Hour Paramedic Refresher will make that possible.
Our EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic Refresher will give you the opportunity to have 3 more attempts at the NREMT, NRAEMT, or NR Paramedic Pshychomotor Exam. Our test prep site at www.emt-national-training.com will help you prepare to pass the exam.
